Bramhall Property Surveys, Building Surveys and Structural Surveys

Our Chartered Surveyors provide building surveys on all types of residential property for a variety of purposes across the Bramhall area.

All our Chartered Surveyors are regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and take pride in their accuracy, experience and proven track record.

The practice particularly focuses on assisting clients with building surveys, home surveys, house purchase surveys and homebuyer style reports during a property purchase.

Building Surveys

These were formerly known as:

Structural Surveys

Building Surveys are the most comprehensive type of non-invasive survey inspection of a house, home or other property. The building or property being surveyed is usually not yet owned by the client, so the surveyor cannot cause damage to the property.  However, we have the training and expertise to examine a lot more than somebody viewing the property with an eye to making a property purchase.

We use our specialist training and experience in building construction methods to provide our clients with a full survey report to provide expert property advice to the property purchaser.

A full building survey is recommended for any property built prior to 1900, or considered to be a period and/or listed structure.

Home Purchase Report

There are several name variations for this kind of survey, including:

Homebuyers Report
House Purchase Survey
Major Defects Report

These are the most common kind of survey report carried out on properties that are typically built from 1900 onwards.

The Home Purchase Report is a survey inspection that concentrates on all the easily accessible parts of the property, which usually include areas such as the roof space.

A Home Purchase Report will be the most likely type of survey report required for modern properties. The survey report will often list any defects in the building and give an indication of how important these would be to a typical property purchaser. The survey will be at a level suitable for the property purchaser to decide whether to proceed with a property purchase, in the knowledge that the building has been inspected by a qualified and experienced professional.

Other Types of Survey

A number of other building surveys and property inspections can be carried out, and our Chartered Surveyor will be able to confirm whether they can provide these services.

We offer a variety of other surveys and types of building assessment, including:

Major Elements Surveys
Acquisition Advice Inspections
Single Fault Assessments
New Build Snagging Survey Inspection

The New Build Snagging Survey Inspection is particularly useful when buying a new build property.
